Buying Minecraft: Java Edition with a Microsoft Account

Use a Microsoft Account to Purchase Minecraft: Java Edition 

1. Visit the Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition page on Minecraft.net.
2. Select the version you want to buy and click the Checkout button.
3. Sign in if prompted. Be sure to use the Microsoft account you want to use to play Minecraft.
4. Enter a payment method or select an existing one.
5. Click the Buy button to complete your purchase.
6. Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install the Minecraft Launcher.
7. Start the Launcher and then select the game version for your PC platform.
8. Click the Play button in the Launcher to start the download and installation of your game.
