Minecraft: Bedrock Edition
Players with a Minecraft Realms subscription will have their Realms world backed up via the cloud. However, local saves are not backed up via the cloud on Windows 10/11 or on Chromebook. Minecraft: Java Edition
Players with a Minecraft: Java Edition Realms subscription will have their Realms world backed up via the cloud. However, local saves are not backed up via the cloud on any platform. Xbox App or Windows Store

Steam
Players enjoying Minecraft Dungeons on Steam have automatic cloud backups and downloads through Steam’s service. To ensure you’re taking advantage of Steam’s cloud services, follow these steps:
- Click on Steam on the top-left side of the Steam client.
- Select Settings.
- Navigate to Cloud and make sure Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for applications which support it is checked.
- Navigate to Minecraft Dungeons in your Steam library list.
- Right click the game and select Properties.
- Under General, make sure that Keep games saves in the Steam Cloud for Minecraft Dungeons is checked.
Minecraft Legends
Xbox App or Windows Store
Players enjoying Minecraft Legends through the Xbox App, the Minecraft Launcher, or the Windows Store will have automatic cloud backups as long as they’re logged in with a Microsoft Account and connected to Xbox Live.
Steam
