Subscriptions for Minecraft Realms need to be canceled through the same account used to start the subscription. If you started your Realms subscription on an Xbox, Sony PlayStation or Nintendo Switch, you can cancel your subscription on the game platform's website. When you cancel your Minecraft Realms subscription, your Realm will still be accessible until the renewal date, but payments will no longer be charged automatically. You can restart your Realm at any time.
Cancel a Minecraft Realms subscription started on Xbox
- Visit your Microsoft account settings in a web browser.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used to purchase your Minecraft Realms subscription.
- Open the Subscriptions section from the menu on the left side of the page.
- Locate the Realm subscription that needs to be cancelled and select Manage.
- Select Cancel subscription.
- Select Cancel subscription from the pop-up window.
Cancel a Minecraft Realms subscription started on Sony PlayStation
- Visit PlayStation Account Management on a web browser.
- Sign in with the PlayStation account used to purchase your Minecraft Realms subscription.
- Navigate to Subscriptions from the menu options on the left.
- Select Continue from the pop-up window. You will be redirected to the subscriptions page.
- Locate the Minecraft Realms subscription you wish to cancel and expand Subscription Settings.
- Select Cancel.
Cancel a Minecraft Realms subscription started on Nintendo Switch
- Visit Nintendo Account settings on a web browser.
- Sign in with the Nintendo account used to purchase your Minecraft Realms subscription.
- Select Subscriptions from the menu options on the left.
- Locate the In-Game Subscriptions and Passes header and select Confirm.
- Locate the Minecraft Realms subscription you wish to cancel and select Cancel your pass by turning off auto-renewal.
- Select Terminate Automatic Renewal on the subscription you wish to cancel.
- Select Terminate from the pop-up window.
