Minecraft: Java Edition Realm owners can change the active world, manage players, and modify server settings through the Configure menu. Here’s how to access your Realm’s settings.
How to access your Java Realm settings
- Launch Minecraft.
- Select Minecraft Realms.
- Select the Realm you want to change.
- Select Configure.

Worlds tab:
- Change your active world slot: The active world has the biggest portrait. Select another one to switch.
- World options: See Change or edit your Minecraft Java Edition Realm World

- Reset World: Overwrite the current world with a new or existing one. See Upload a World to a Minecraft: Java Edition Realm.
Players tab:
- Invite Player: Add players by Java Profile Name. See Invite Friends to Your Minecraft: Java Edition Realm.
- Manage player permissions: Modify the permissions of invited players. See Moderate your Minecraft Realm.
Subscription tab:
- See subscription dates: Your subscription start and end date will be displayed here.
- Extend your subscription: This redirects to Minecraft.net. See Renew an Expired Minecraft: Java Edition Realms Subscription.
- Delete Realm: This button will be grayed out unless your Realm is expired. Select it to delete your Realm.
Settings tab:
- Change Realm name and description: These are visible to anyone with a Realms invite.
