Save a Backup of Your Minecraft: Bedrock Edition World on Windows

You can create a backup of your Minecraft: Bedrock Edition world to store locally or transfer onto another Windows PC by exporting your world file:

1. Launch Minecraft and select Play.
2. Select the pencil icon on the world you want to copy on the Worlds tab.
3. Select Export world from the General Settings under File management.
4. Modify any settings you’d like to enable and select Export world.
5. Choose a location to save the file and select Export.
