You may have received a code for downloadable content such as a cape, hat, character skin or other character items in Minecraft from an event or promotion and need to know how to redeem your code and get your swag! Here is how to redeem your code and add the item to your account.

How to Redeem a Code for Character Items from a Promotion or Event
- Visit the Minecraft code redemption page.
- Enter the code as written and enter it in the Redeem Code field and press Submit.
- Sign in to an existing Microsoft account or create a new one.

How to Equip Your Promotional Item
